Energy System Services carries out installation and adjustment of electric equipment, Instrumentation and Controls, outdoor and indoor lighting networks in industrial environment. The Company carries out the following operations:

⎯       installation of outdoor and indoor lighting, installation of lighting poles;

⎯       development of cable trenches (excavation of trenches, installation of cable trays);

⎯       installation, testing and termination of low voltage (up to 1000 V power cables, control cables, lighting cables, Instrumentation and Control cables);

⎯       installation and adjustment of Instrumentation and Control equipment;

⎯       installation of cabinets, panel boards and automatic switchboards;

⎯       installation of grounding devices and anti-lightning protection.

Energy System Services team is appropriately qualified and experienced and has authorization and permits to operate all stages of electric equipment and Instrumentation and Control commissioning. The major pre-commissioning stages include:

1)     Development and approval of Work Program (Procedure)  of commissioning and tests including sequence of operations, execution time and applied instrumentation and equipment; inspection and setting-up procedures for equipment and apparatus.

2)     Visual inspection of installed equipment for compliance with the design and work drawings; primary tests for each individual device, a conductor, a panel or a shield and appropriate finalizing installation works.

3)     Testing individual pieces of equipment, protection, control and automation devices.

4)     Systems test of electric equipment and Instrumentation and Controls.

The Company has its own electro technical laboratory (ETL) to perform electric tests. The laboratory is registered under Republic of Kazakhstan laws. Measuring instruments undergo regular verification procedures.

The short list of operations performed by ETL: measuring current spreading resistance and metal-to-metal connection, megger (insulation) tests of electric cables and equipment; high voltage testing of equipment and cables.
